At the end of 1939 also ZG 52 was suplied with the BF110. A white dragon on a black shield was the Group's emblem. The group while still in training, was not used during the operations in Norway.
ZG52 prepare their aircrafts for a sortie against targets in France in the morning of 10 May. This group was one of the last that were suplied with the Bf 110 before the operations in France started.
 
 
Abandoned French and British material was often used. Here a small French ammunition vehicle is used for moving an A/C of I. /ZG 52.
