Dear Friends
• I'll be using Ultrapack 1.8 (we'll patch to 2.0 next week ) with ZUTI 1.0 ( will patch to 1.1 also next week)
• For the Test missions i'm using Cannon's New 42-44 Channel map in a 1943 Environment,
so for the moment it's very Fictitious but not lame since these new Cannon Maps cover more territory to cover, and Central Med map.
Until 352 squad is finished with the 1:1 London to Berlin Map, ( http://352ndfg.com/smf/index.php?topic=1326.0) the Server will be functional with On-line Stats but in Test Mode.
Wilde Sau (the use of FWs) is a very strong possibility since there are squads Out there that are into single engine night fighting.
• As far as mission structure & rotation goes, I was thinking along the lines where, one would get a mission taking place at night and the next mission would take place during day time.
Always the same basic scenario. incoming Allied Bombers that are about
to eradicate precious German resources.
Basically you would have Ai Recons, Ai Bombers and very Few Ai Fighters
with pre-scheduled flights that spawn every 1 or so hour,
plus some extra Secondary objectives for Players to accomplish, for example “attacking a ship convoy at night”
and / or “spot / destroy HQ installations” at a pre-fixed grid.
A mission could actually last & play out it's Self for many Hours especially the daytime ones.
It gets even more interesting when you have moving front as well!
For the time being and as far as the test missions i'm building goes,
the front is Static.
Humans try to either:
Recon (Spotters), Intercept
Escort Bombers, Recon (even Path finding in front of Human Bomber Formation), Bomb
IP to Dedicated Server will be available sometime next week.
